Get to know Urologist Dr. Gary L. Brown, who serves patients in Amarillo, Texas.

Recognized as a skilled urologist, Dr. Brown is in practice at the AUA Surgical Center. His areas of clinical interest include prostate cancer, urinary stone disease, general urology, sacral neuromodulation, and interstitial cystitis. AUA Surgical Center is Amarillo’s only urological surgical center, providing elective outpatient surgical procedures. It is owned and operated by the physician group at Amarillo Urology Associates. A native of Amarillo, Dr. Brown has a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. He started his career in medicine by earning his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University. He then went on to complete his internship at Baylor University Medical Center, and his residencies in surgery and urology at UT Southwestern Medical School, Parkland Hospital in Dallas. In practice since 1982, he is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
